Obama says Trump's travel Ban is discriminatory

A former US President, Barack Obama, has criticised President Donald Trump’s executive order to curb immigration, backing protesters who have taken to the nation’s airports to express their displeasure.

Obama, in a statement on Monday by his spokesperson, Kevin Lewis, said Trump’s immigration policy was discriminatory.

“The (former) President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion,” CNN quoted Lewis as saying.

Lewis added that Obama perceived the protests as “exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”

This is the first time Obama, who ceded power to Trump 10 days ago, would criticise the current President, breaking an unwritten rule that former presidents should refrain from criticising the current White House occupant.

Trump had on Friday banned seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States for the next 90 days and suspended the admission of all refugees.

Trump’s order temporarily banned immigration from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia and indefinitely stopped Syrian refugees from coming to the United States.

Woman puts her cheating us and on national newpaper

Nigerian woman gives birth to two pure white babies

A black mother who gave birth to a million-to-one, white, blue-eyed baby boy has stunned doctors by having a second white child.

Financial analyst Catherine Howarth was stunned when the midwife handed her daughter Sophia and she was as white as her brother.
The mum, a Nigerian, is believed to the only black mother in the world to have given birth to two white, blue-eyed children.

She said: ‘When Jonah was born, a genetic specialist said he was a one-in-a-million baby. He said it was extraordinary with my African background that I’d had a child with blue eyes and pale skin.

‘He calculated the possibility of it happening again was less than one in a million.

‘So when Sophia was born with white skin and blue eyes I was more than taken aback with shock. It seems the odds of it happening twice are millions-to-one. No-one has heard of a black mum having two white babies one after the other.’

While husband Richard, 37, an engineer, is completely white, the couple from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire thought their second child would be much darker than their first.

Catherine said: ‘When I had Jonah he was so white both Richard and I thought the midwife had given us the wrong child. But if anything, having Sophia has been even more of a shock because we were sure it couldn’t happen twice. I was stunned when I saw her blue eyes and light skin.’

Doctors were equally amazed when Sophia was born last March.

Catherine is of Nigerian decent with no white genes in her family.

Tibou Kamara, a former government minister from Guinea, and one of the first negotiators sent in to convince former Gambia president Yahya Jammeh to give up power has come out to say how the former dictator was convinced to leave Gambia for new President, Adama Barrow.

How we use Yahya Jammeh's religion and love for Gambia to convince him to step down - Negotiator
Kamara said he and other negotiators had to appeal to Jammeh’s faith. Jammeh is reportedly a devouted Muslim who took his religion serious.
Kamara said: “We appealed to his faith."
He said the case was resolved because Jammeh believes, “everything that happens to a man is God’s will. This carried a lot of weight.”
According to The Punch, during a day of talks led by the Mauritanian and Guinean leaders — interrupted by a break for Friday prayers — negotiators also reminded Jammeh of his potential place in history.
Kamara said Jammeh who prides himself on gaining leadership of Gambia without spilling blood was advised by all negotiators that it was unnecessary to drag his country into war to avoid ruining his place in the history of The Gambia.
Kamara said negotiators urged Jammeh to “secure” this legacy by agreeing to “leave with dignity”.
When Jammeh eventually stepped down, he mentioned his faith as a devouted Muslim and love for Gambia as the two main reasons he decided to step down and leave Gambia.
Kamara however warned against “witch hunting” or unnecessary probing of Jammeh to avoid hate and future crisis from Jammeh and his supporters.
Diplomats have called on Barrow’s government to guarantee Jammeh’s civil rights, including his eventual return after leaving the country for Equatorial Guinea.
Meanwhile, after Jammeh stepped down, troops of the Economic Council of West African States (ECOWAS) in The Gambia have reported a large cache of sophisticated arms and ammunition missing from State House in Banjul, the capital.
According to a Gambian newspaper The Point, troops also found that all the air conditioners were loaded with a toxic chemical, which was meant to poison the occupants of any of the rooms.

Don't marry anybody who puts a password on their phone says counsellor

If you are single and thinking of marriage, then please don't marry anyone who puts passwords or locks on their phone as a form of security to prevent you from accessing their conversations.
They can surely do this for other security measures, but you must not be the reason for this action.

I am very much aware that passwords or lock are for security purposes but one thing I don't approve of is when a spouse becomes the reason for that security measure.
There is nothing like secrecy or privacy in marriage, let no one deceive you there is, and let no one tell you he or she is doing that to save you from getting hurt. Marriage is a holy institution, there is nothing like hiding. Marriage is made for life and one of the very things that can destroy it is acts of hiding things.
The bible says in Genesis 2:25 (TLB) "Now although the man and his wife were both naked, neither of them was embarrassed or ashamed". What are you embarrassed or ashamed of your spouse seeing? If you can't be truthful, honest and transparent with them, then there is no need getting married to them. It doesn't matter how you feel about them.
Mark 10:8 (NLV) says “The two will become one. So they are no longer two, but one”. I therefore suggest to you, if he or she is hiding things from you, it simply means they don’t want to become one with you. Such a marriage won’t last.
Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.
