Checkout how different cities across the world celebrated the new year

The new year came with beautiful fireworks around the world



It’s a brand new year and across the world, various countries took turns to celebrate the occasion as their time zones allowed.
As there are countries, so are there different ways such countries chose to welcome in the new year.

Sydney, Australia


In Sydney, its iconic Harbour Bridge was bathed in the lights from a seven tons firework display, which also paid tribute to the late US singer Prince, by glowing purple.



Taipei, Taiwan

About one million people travelled to Taiwan’s capital to watch the thousands of fireworks explode from the famous 101 tower.

Dubai, UAE
