So Sweet! Kerry Washington wishes Uzo Aduba a Happy Birthday in Igbo



The actress who is married to former NFL player, Nnamdi Asomugha took to Twitter to wish actress Uzo Adubaa happy birthday in very fluent Igbo.



“Ncheta ubochi omumu gi. Ekele diri Chineke,” she tweeted at Uzo who is of Nigerian descent.
(Loosely translates to: “Remembering your birthday. Praise be to God.”)
Uzo also replied in Igbo writing, “Heh! Nwannem nwanyi, i na asu Igbo??!? Maka o di mma! Nwanne, daalu maka ubochi omumu m.” – (Which loosely translates to), “Ha! My sister, you speak Igbo?! That’s very good. Thanks for the birthday wish.)
