The Scottish woman plunged to her death from a Benidorm balcony after celebrating her wedding just months ago, according to Daily Records.
The lady identified as Kirsty Maxwell, 27, is understood to have been on a hen party with friends in the Spanish resort when she perished in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A British man is understood to have been arrested in connection with the incident. It is understood Kirsty may have become 'disorientated' and ended up in a room directly above hers, where five British men were sleeping.
One of them is understood to have opened the door to her and was said to have been “near her” when the incident happened.
A police spokesman said: “All we can say at this stage is that a British woman born in 1989 has fallen from a 10th-floor flat in Benidorm and died as a result. The matter is under investigation.”
