Black Panther breaks another record surpasses ''Titanic'' as it becomes the 3rd best title movie in the U.S

Disney and Marvel superhero movie, "Black Panther" is still making history as it has turned up as the third best title of all time in the U.S.




According to Hollywood Reporter, the Disney and Marvel superhero movie passed up James Cameron's movie on Saturday, March 31, to rank as the third top-grossing title of all time at the North American box office behind "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" ($936.7 million) and "Avatar" ($760.5 million).
These are the figures before inflation.
Black Panther came in with a domestic total of $659.3 million on Friday, March 30, 2018, just above the $659.5 million grossed by Titanic, which made its debut in the theatres back the in late 1997.
So far, Black Panther has grossed $1.29 billion, ranking as the No. 10 title of all time, worldwide.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, Black Panther is officially the best-reviewed superhero movies of all time.
  
The movie starring Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan broke multiple box office records too, stealing the record for the largest opening for an African-American director.
Before now, F. Gary Gray and "The Fate of the Furious" led this category after it opened to $98 million in April 2017.
According to Disney, the movie is estimated to bring in $218 million domestically. 
CNN reports that it is the second biggest opening for a Marvel Studios film, after 2012's "The Avengers," pushing past other huge hits like "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Captain America: Civil War" and "Iron Man 3."
