Defending champions Nigeria beat South Africa 1-0 to qualify for finals at the ongoing Women’s African Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Cameroon.
Nigeria defeated Bayana Bayana of South Africa with a lone goal scored by Desire Oparanozie in the 53rd minute.
Nigeria will play the Cameroonian team in the finals on Saturday.
