While the show was going on, reports emerged that Cee-c was dating Ebuka before entering the show.

“Apparently she came to marketed something to me, in some event, I mean, I attend so many event in Lagos. I’m not supposed to remember everybody.

“Apparently, this happened at Terraculture, nothing about this came to my mind until I heard what she said during the show.

“To the best of my knowledge, the first time I met Cee-c was when I spoke to her on stage during the show.

“The reason I didn’t debunk it was because I wanted it to die naturally. It was a very stupid rumour and I didn’t want to give life.

“I think she has crush on me. But I don’t know what else she has on her head. I’ve never spoken to her except while in the house when I was doing my job.”

The House of Representatives has called for the sack of service chiefs and security advisers to President Muhammadu Buhari over the incessant killing of Nigerians all over the country.

Speaker of the house, Yakubu Dogara made this public in a statement he released on social media.

He wrote: "In response to widespread attacks on citizens across the country, the House of Representatives today passed a vote of no confidence on service chiefs and security advisers and called for their replacement. We also resolved to summon the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari in order to answer pertinent questions concerning what the Executive is doing to put a decisive end to the spate of killings across in different states of the Federation.

Trump better ''just go and play golf '‘ rather than run for second term says his Ex Wife

"Maybe he should just go and play golf and enjoy his fortune," Ivana Trump said in a candid interview with Page Six about the prospect of her ex-husband running for re-election in 2020.

President Donald Trump's first wife discussed Trump family life in and out of the White House ahead of the May paperback release for her book, "Raising Trump", with The New York Post's gossip section .
Ivana said she thinks Trump might miss his freedom and may have underestimated how much is involved in being president, making another term "unnecessary" for the soon-to-be 72-year-old.
Though he lacks political experience, she said "The Donald" (as she calls him) can hold his own through brokering friendships with tough leaders like Russian president Vladimir Putin, who she thinks "is the toughest guy in the world. Really."
"It's always better to be politically correct and be friendly," she continued. "But Donald's not going to take his crap, that's for sure."
The couple made tabloid headlines with her dramatic 1992 divorce after he cheated on her with then-26-year-old model Marla Maples.
Ivana said she sympathizes with first lady Melania Trump after lawyer Michael Cohen admitted he paid porn starStormy Daniels $130,000 to silence her about an alleged 2006 affair with Trump.
"I feel bad for [Melania] because I know how bad I did feel. It hurts a lot," Ivana said.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg shares one of great regrets in life

null

Zuckerberg revealed one of his "great regrets" about his stewardship of the company. Facebook, in Zuckerberg's view, did not play enough of a role developing and influencing the mobile technology that's become society's primary means of computing.
"Frankly, we haven't been a hardware company or an operating system company," Zuckerberg said during the call.
Smartphones and other mobile gadgets are designed around apps, instead of people, the Facebook CEO explained. Were Facebook not so busy building its own service at the dawn of the smartphone age a decade ago, it would have been able to show everyone a better way.
"One of my great regrets in how we’ve run the company so far is I feel like we didn’t get to shape the way that mobile platforms developed as much as would have been good," Zuckerberg said.
Zuckerberg made the comments in response to a question about Facebook's Oculus virtual reality headset — a product that Zuckerberg believes could lay the foundation for a new and improved "people first" computing platform.

Oil marketers in Nigeria planned to confine me to a wheelchair says Okonjo-Iweala

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former minister of finance, says there was a plan to confine her to a wheel chair and force her out of office during the time she served under ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

She said some oil importers and marketers whom the federal government owed money were behind the plot.

Okonjo-Iweala revealed this in her book titled: ‘Fighting Corruption is Dangerous: The Story Behind the Headlines’.

“My mother’s ordeal was not the end of frightening events that occurred in late 2012 and early 2013. A few months after my mother’s escape, I had just wrapped up a meeting late one afternoon when my cell phone rang. It was again my brother Onyeama,” Okonjo-Iweala wrote.

“My first thought was that something else had gone wrong in the family. He frantically asked me, ‘where are you, where are you?’ I was surprised and I said I was in my office. He said I needed to immediately seek additional security and I must vary my route for travel.

“I asked what was wrong and my brother told me a very strange story. One of my brother’s old friend had just called him to say he had just left a secret meeting where the subject was to inflict maximum physical damage on me, just short of killing me. The agreement reached in this meeting was to attack me in a way that I would end up paralysed and bound to a wheelchair and forced to leave the finance ministry.

“The meeting was held by a group of oil importers and marketers to whom the federal government ‘owed money’. It was held in the house of the chair and owner of the of one of the oil marketing companies. They were angry  I was withholding the subsidy payments that they thought were owed them for their refined petroleum imports.

“My brother’s friend participated in this meeting but felt what was being planned was unjust and cruel and I did not deserve it.”

The minister said the attack on her mother was due to her refusal to resign from office, after she had convened a task force that audited fiscal accounts and detected “fraudulent” claims for oil subsidy payments by oil marketers, which she refused to pay.

“Because my mother’s kidnapping forced me to resign their next action to force me out of office was to attack and disable me,” she wrote.

Cee-C's Loyal fans allegedly awarded her with the sum of N2Million

“Team Cee-C”, as her fans called themselves, proved that they were, indeed, lovers of the ‘drama queen,’ and they remain loyal, no matter the odds.

Unlike other finalists and some housemates, she did not win any of the sponsored tasks that could have earned her monetary gifts while she was in the house.
However, to make sure that their favourite housemate did not go home empty-handed, the fans declared her their ‘BBNaija 2018 Winner’ and rewarded her with a N2million cheque.
They dotted on Cee-C amid jubilation, took photographs with her and handed her the sum which was rallied for her by her fans before she met with her father.

World's oldest woman Nabi Tajima dies at the age of 117 in Japan

A 117-year-old Japanese woman, thought to be the world’s oldest person, has died, a local official told AFP Sunday.

Nabi Tajima, who was born August 4, 1900, died around 8:00 pm (1100 GMT) Saturday at a hospital on her native Kikai Island in Kagoshima region, according to Susumu Yoshiyuki, a health and welfare official.

Tajima, who became the oldest woman in Japan in September 2015, could have been the oldest person in the world since Violet Brown of Jamaica died in September 2017 at age 117, Japanese media said.

Since Brown’s death, Guinness World Records has been investigating who is the oldest person in the world and was yet to recognise Tajima as such.

The oldest man in the world is 112-year-old Masazo Nonaka of Japan, the organisation announced on April 10.

“Ms Tajima was living at a nursing centre for the elderly. In January, she became weaker, so she was taken to a local hospital,” Yoshiyuki told AFP.

“She died there (Saturday) due to her advanced age,” he said.

Japan is known for the longevity of its people and has been home to several oldest title holders.

There are around 68,000 people aged 100 or older in the country, the government said last year.
