Producer of Star Wars and Hunger Games dies of Lung cancer at 54


Allison Shearmur who produced the Hunger Games franchise and Rogue One died at 54 on Friday of lung cancer complications.
After becoming a full-time producer in 2011, she worked on The Hunger Games, Cinderella, Power Rangers and the Star Wars spin-off Rogue One. She was producing the upcoming film Solo, another Star Wars spin-off focusing on Han Solo.
The mother-of-two was born a quadruplet and attended the University of Pennsylvania and later the University of the Southern California’s Gould School of Law.
She is survived by her husband, her two children, her parents and her three siblings.

So sad! May God comfort her family.
