I had s*x with my husband before killing him says Osun housewife

Omotayo Salawudeen hired Oladapo Dolapo to kill her husband after having sex

Osun State housewife who hired an assassin to murder her husband said she actually had sex with the husband on the night he was killed.

Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen who has been arrested for the murder of her husband, Alhaji Hakeem Salawudeen, 43, confessed that she hired the 24-year-old assassin, Oladapo Dolapo, to kill her husband and played an active part in the murder of a man she had been married to for 17 years and had three children with.

Omotayo who was paraded by the police in Osogbo, the state capital on Monday, July 17, 2017, alleged that the deceased who was a loving husband, did not offend her in any way but that she was just mad at him and decided to take him out.
During an interview with journalists during the parade, Omotayo said:
“I hired Dolapo Oladapo to kill my husband. We were married for about 17 years; we were blessed with three children. They are aged 17, 15 and 12. My husband did not offend me; I was just mad at him.
I choked him with a pillow after having sex with him and Oladapo stabbed him to death with a knife. I don’t know what came over me, but I regret my action.”
However, it was gathered that Omotayo must have been seething with anger after her husband impregnated another woman sometime in 2016 and had threatened to do something nasty if the man should bring the woman into their home.
A police source said that on the day she killed her husband, Omotayo had called Hakeem who was at a party, to come back home as there was something important she wanted to discuss with him.
“Unknown to him, his wife had brought an assassin home and hid him in one of the rooms,” the police source said.
On his part, Dolapo said Omotayo hired him to punish her husband, adding that she promised him that she would give him anything he requested if the operation was successful.
Confirming the arrest of the suspects, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Fimihan Adeoye, stated that a relation of the deceased reported the incident to the police, adding that Dolapo was the first to be arrested for the murder before he implicated Omotayo.
"Investigations revealed that Omotayo did not only hire Oladapo but actively participated in killing her husband,” CP Adeoye said.
The CP said an investigation was ongoing and that the case would be charged to court as soon as the police are done.
