Unconfirmed reports have it that former Governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso on Tuesday, March 14, dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).According to @APCNewsTV on Twitter, Senator Kwankwaso defected with 10 Kano state lawmakers.
Recall that in March last year, the leadership of the APC, Kano state chapter had initiated moves to suspend him over what it termed anti-party activities.
